Va. judge extends deadline for salmonella claims
A deadline for personal injury claims against the peanut processor at the center of a nationwide salmonella outbreak was extended Friday by more than four months.
Roy V. Creasy of Roanoke, trustee in the Peanut Corp. case, said the deadline for personal injury claims was extended to make sure everyone has time to file.
