A law degree or a qualification in legal studies has long been considered a sound foundation for strong career prospects after college. Many view a law degree as a chance to become a solicitor or barrister after post-college study.
In the six years up to 2007, there was a 93 per cent increase in places on the Law Society’s Professional Practice Course (PPC), which reflected the buoyancy of the legal sector and the popularity of legal practice.
